David has a passion for high concept stories which are grounded by insightful and relatable characters - often with a genre twist. He has been shortlisted for All3Media’s New Drama Script Award, shortlisted as a writer/director in Sky and Creative UK’s shortFLIX programme and been on a writing scheme run by producers at DMC Film.

He also has script edited on beloved shows such as Renegade Nell and the silver anniversary season of Silent Witness. David is currently the head of department Script Editor on Doctor Who.
